Terms of use and data protection.

This document describes the rules for using the website gerganatsanova.com and how personal data of visitors and clients is processed. Please read it before using the services described on the site.

1. 1. Intellectual property

   All content on the site — texts, articles, images, design, video and audio materials — is copyrighted. You may read and share it via links for personal, non-commercial use. Republishing, copying, or adapting whole or substantial parts without written permission is not allowed.

2. 2. How the site is used

   The site is informational and contact-oriented. Through it you can learn about my services, read articles, browse resources, and reach out to me. No registration is required. Please do not use the site in a way that violates the law, the rights of third parties, or its normal operation.

3. 3. Liability

   I take care to keep the content of the site accurate and up to date, but I do not guarantee that it is exhaustive or applicable to every specific case. The information here does not replace professional advice. I am not responsible for the content of external sites linked from here.

4. 4. Services and booking

   The service descriptions on the site are informational. Specific terms — scope, duration, price, and format — are agreed in writing or orally before work begins. Booking a free introductory call happens through an external platform (Cal.com) to which the site simply redirects.

5. 5. Personal data — what and why

   The site itself does not require registration and does not automatically collect personal data. I receive personal data (name, email, subject of inquiry, anything you choose to share) only when you write to me at the listed email address or when you book a call via Cal.com. I process this data to reply, to prepare and carry out the agreed work, and to meet legal obligations (such as accounting).

6. 6. Retention period

   I keep correspondence related to inquiries for as long as the conversation requires and for reasonable follow-up afterwards. Data related to active client engagements is kept for the duration of our work and for up to 5 years afterwards, where applicable accounting or tax law requires it. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. 7. Cookies and local storage

   The site does not use analytics or marketing cookies and does not track you. I store only two local preferences in your browser (localStorage): your chosen language and theme (light/dark), so I can remember your preferences on your next visit. This information stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.

8. 8. External services

   For certain features the site uses external providers: Cal.com (for booking a free introductory call) and LinkedIn (a link to my professional profile). When you navigate to their pages, their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. 9. Your rights

   You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw a given consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to me at the email below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg).

10. 10. Changes to these terms

    I reserve the right to update this document when services, technology, or applicable law changes. The date of the most recent update is always shown at the top of this page. I recommend reviewing it from time to time.

11. 11. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and by applicable European Union law, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the Bulgarian courts.
